characteristics of thyristor-controller, type avc...
- Designed for speeds up to 2 m/s
- computer controlled; relays for the power contactors and the mechanical brake (controlled by the rated value and the actual value of the speed)
- Deceleration monitoring with relay output
- digital sensor-input with direction monitoring
- Use of pulse-generator (Incremental Sensor) with one track or two tracks, from 60 ppr. to 2x500 ppr.
- 5 selectable speeds: v2, v1, v0, vN, vR
- Landing with creeping speed, direct landing or distance dependent arch drive possible
- Common failure relay for phase-loss, sensor failure, overspeed, speed-hysteresis
Thyristor-controller of type a.../.../400 can be equiped with a full controlled 3-phase rectifier. The advantage is a more smooth brake-current than the single phase rectifier supplies. This leads to a much smaller motor-noise during deceleration.
